Information for guests

Our goal is that all our guests will feel welcome and want to come back to us, whether you stay for a longer or shorter time. If you have any special requests, please contact us in advance!

Here are some information for you as our guest:

• Check-in can take place after 16.00. Late check-in is fine, you can come whenever it suits you! We will send information through a textmessage to the mobile number you entered upon booking. You will receive a code to the front door and information on how to get your key/to your room as well as an emergency number you can call if there are any problems. • Early check-in (before 1 p.m.) or late check-out (max. 4 hours) is possible for half the daily fee. Please inform us in advance if you arrive early or want to check out late.
• Check-out must take place no later than 11.00 and you leave your key according to the instructions.
• One set of bed sheet & one towel as well as final cleaning is included in the price. We do not clean the rooms during the stay. If you are staying for a longer period of time, cleaning materials are available on each floor. If you wish to buy a new set of bed linen/towel, it costs SEK 80 and is paid at the Reception.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. Our fire alarm is connected to SOS and if you cause a false alarm, you will be charged for this and have to leave the room. There is a smoking area at the backside of the main building, under cover. No smoking outside the entrance.
• Kitchen, bathroom and other areas are shared with other guests. We therefore ask everyone to keep these rooms tidy, such as do the dishes, putting all the dishes back and clean all surfaces. Garbage is sorted according to instructions in the kitchen.
• There is a laundry room to use, free of charge. Time is booked at the Reception.
• We offer camera-monitored parking for motorbikese/bicycles at our back yard. Free car park (max. 24H) is available across the street.
• Breakfast is not included. You have access to a fully equipped kitchen, located on each floor. It is possible to buy a simple breakfast package for SEK 80/person. This consists of two types of freshly frozen bread, butter, cheese, marmalade, eggs, yoghurt and juice. We need to know the day before if you want breakfast. Book through this page or contact us!
• Between 22.00 – 08.00 it must be quiet in the house in consideration of other guests.
• We allow one small dog/cat in our rooms on the ground floor. If you bring a dog or cat, this must be announced when making the reservation and only one dog or cat/room is allowed. An additional cost of SEK 150 for the first night is added, then SEK 50/night, which is paid upon or before arrival.
• The staff has the right to enter the room if we suspect fire, smoking or other unforeseen events.
• Your key is programmed at check-in and works for as long as your reservation is valid. All doors are locked so you must have your key with you when you go out. A lost key is charged SEK 500.
• Hair dryers and irons can be borrowed at the Reception.
• The reception as well as the entrance & parking lot are under camera surveillance when the hostel is unmanned, for your safety and ours. The films are stored in a cloud for 30 days, thereafter they are deleted.
• If the room need extended cleaning after check out, on extra night will be charged.
• Guests who are drunk or suspected of using other drugs will be immediately evicted from the Hostel!

If the above rules are not followed, the guest can be evicted without refund of the fee.

Other good info:

• Pharmacy: located on Kvarngatan, 500 m.
• ATM: available on Mårtensgatan, 350 m.
• Petrol/Diesel: Preem, 600 m.
• Fire alarm: available in every room, on every floor. See evacuation signs. False alarms are charged to the guest.
• Bus: See “Skånetrafiken” app or website. Tickets are most easily purchased via their app.
• Bicycles: Bicycles are parked at the back of the house, monitored by camera.
• Electric car: can be charged via Eon’s charging station, 100 m.
• Storage: Subject to space, we can store your bags for a few hours after check-out. Contact the Reception.
• Barbecue: There are three barbecues in different sizes in our garden. Barbecue utensils are available in the kitchen on the ground floor.
• Hygiene articles: The nearest shop is on the other side of the train station and is open from 06.30 to 22.00 every day.
• Hair dryer: can be borrowed at the Reception (note: we are not present during evenings and nights).
• Forgotten items: we store forgotten items for three months, after which these are donated to Erikshjälpen.
• Food: The nearest shop is on the other side of the train station and is open from 06.30 to 22.00 every day.
• Environment: We sort all garbage and ask you to follow instructions in the kitchen. No one can do everything but everyone can do something.
• Parking: free parking (max 24 H) next to Sibylla. Do not leave any belongings in the car overnight!
• Post: Nearest post box at Ica Supermarket where you can also leave packages etc.
• Games: Some games are available in the family room on the ground floor.
• Iron/ironing board: available in the cleaning room on each floor or in Reception.
• Garden: Our big garden is located at the backside of the main building. Go through the kitchen on ground floor to enter the garden, follow the signs. The backside door is locked automatically. You can fix the door to be open but the door must be closed again when you come back inside!
• Taxi: We recommend Taxi Skåne, see website/app.
• Train: the station is located just across the street. Tickets are bought through “Skånetrafiken” app or website.
• TV: available in every room, channels 1,2,4 and the children’s and knowledge channel.
